Enterprise Strategy Redesign
-
The client, a UK leisure travel business, commissioned a review and refinement of its organisation-wide strategy. Following the appointment of a new senior leadership team, Exevion supported the development and launch of a refreshed organisational strategy aligned to revised commercial targets.
Exevion was engaged to redesign the strategy to ensure it was fit for purpose and enable consistent understanding, ownership, and adoption across the organisation.
-
Exevion delivered this work using a three-phase approach:
Align Phase
Conducted comprehensive stakeholder engagement by running 1-to-1 interviews with team leaders to assess strengths and weaknesses in the strategy and its initial implementation.
Performed market analysis to benchmark the client’s strategy against global and local competitors, as well as adjacent markets, to identify best practice in strategy design and execution.
Refine Phase
Facilitated a series of targeted workshops with business leaders to validate learnings, agree on priorities, and brainstorm suggested changes to the business strategy.
Delivered a revised business strategy, including multiple vision and mission options and a set of strategic pillars with supporting capabilities, better reflecting the perspectives of staff and leadership.
Activate Phase
Collaborated with selected team members to define the channels and materials required to communicate the strategy on an ongoing basis, ensuring employees understood the priorities, tracked progress, and aligned day-to-day activity to strategic objectives.
Defined a set of strategic initiatives, titled Value Creation Plans, to address identified challenges and enable more efficient delivery of the new strategy and achievement of target business outcomes.
-
Through its approach, Exevion was able to deliver:
A redesigned business strategy with input from the client team that is clearer, more concise, and better reflects the purpose and identity of the business.
A set of clear, prioritised strategic initiatives to transform project delivery, strengthen brand identity, enhance people management, and build technology and data capabilities in support of the revised strategic goal.

Exevion partnered with a UK leisure travel business to redesign and activate its enterprise-wide strategy following the introduction of a new senior leadership team. While the business had ambitious growth targets and a defined strategic intent, challenges embedding the strategy into day-to-day operations limited its organisational impact.
Through a three-phase approach, Exevion engaged stakeholders across the business to understand barriers to adoption, benchmarked the client’s strategic direction against best practice, and worked closely with leadership to redesign a strategy that more clearly articulated the organisation’s purpose, priorities, and capabilities.
The engagement resulted in a refreshed business strategy, supported by a clear set of prioritised value creation initiatives and a practical activation plan, enabling the organisation to align teams, improve execution, and drive delivery against its revised strategic goals.
