  • A major global player in the space applications and services sector had recently undergone significant business transformation, including acquiring a space defence consultancy and restructuring its senior leadership team. With these changes, the company sought to establish a new strategy to drive revenue growth, align with its new leadership vision and support post-acquisition integration. 

    The key challenges included: 

    • Lack of Strategic Alignment: The organisation lacked a clear, actionable 5-year strategic plan, making it difficult to align teams, prioritise initiatives, and drive collective progress 

    • Fragmented Initiatives: Strategic projects were developed independently by different owners, leading to duplication, misalignment, and inefficiencies across the business 

    • Unclear Growth Trajectory: While the organisation had ambitious financial targets, there was no defined roadmap or execution plan to ensure these goals were met within the required timeframe

    • Ensured that each initiative was clearly defined and aligned with the company’s overarching goals 

    Strategic Plan Development 

    • Consolidated inputs from all strategic leads to create a unified organisational strategy that enabled cross-initiative collaboration and integration 

    • Provided expert input to refine and strengthen the strategic framework. 

    Ownership & Alignment 

    • Worked closely with strategic leads to ensure they felt full ownership of their objectives and their role in achieving the company’s long-term vision 

    Final Strategic Plan & Stakeholder Presentation 

    • Documented the comprehensive 5-year strategic plan that outlined key priorities, financial targets, and growth initiatives 

    • Supported the company to prepare the presentation of the plan to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders 

    • Clear 5-Year Strategic Roadmap: Developed a well-structured, actionable plan that provides a clear direction for long-term growth, improving decision-making efficiency and optimising resource allocation 

    • Aligned Strategic Initiatives: Unified all business initiatives under a cohesive strategy, eliminating silos and increasing cross-functional collaboration, leading to a 10% improvement in operational efficiency
